I graduated from Amherst Steele High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science from John Carroll University. This will be my third year at St. Mary. My first year I taught Physical Education (Gym) and subbed full time. Last year I began teaching Preschool 3's along with gym. I've attended St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Lorain my whole life. Hobbies outside of school include football, baseball, golf, fantasy sports, going on hikes with my dog, video games, playing cards and, of course, hanging out with friends.
My preschool philosophy is one that centers on community and religion, with an emphasis on both socialization and pre-academic skills. My goal is to provide each child with a safe, productive, supportive and fun learning environment where they can have the chance to excel socially, academically, and emotionally. To varying degrees, learning is done through playing and experimenting with language, toys, art, and science materials.
